PetrolDave
You can get your hand behind the headlamp on both a B6 and B7 (I guess yours is a B6?). Worst case on a B6 is slide the headlamps forward to get more room behind the lamp, to do that on a B7 means at least dropping the bumper.
beankeena
its a 54 plate with the smaller grill so it must be a B6, a mate of mine has a 54 plate but his has the big grill thanks mate
Mosuhu
I just replaced my bulb the other day, and to do so, I had to remove the headlight unit. There are two screws to the top and two on the behind the unit, lower down. Its a pain in the a** just to change a bulb. I tried to just put my hand down there and do it, buts its impossible, everything is so tight. Good Luck.
PetrolDave
Sounds like I've either got thin hands or a high pain threshold! When I changed the bulbs on my B6 S4 I did it with the lamps in situ - did get a load of cuts and scratches on the back of my hand though...
