CarMad
We arrive at the fourth race of what could be a classic season. Each race has had its thrills both on and off the track and the Ferrari / Mclaren monopoly has been well and truly ended. But will they fight back ? Brawn GP will be hoping for dry weather if last weeks performance is anything to go buy and will Redbull be able to follow the fantastic 1-2 and their first win? Hamilton tried his best last week but that just wasn't good enough but at least he finished. Ferrari seem to be more than a little bit lost, it seems KERS will be off again this weekend and the car just isn't performing and there are no major updates due just yet either, will they right off the 2009 season time will tell. Anyway what do you think are we in for another cracker? I hope so. bazza_g
I love it when its only 1 week between GP's - again looking forward to this one - doubtful Ferrari are going to find much in the space of a week - good chance its going to be Brawn and Red Bull up the front again - never discount Renault though! Toyota need to make the most of the diffuser advantage they have at the minute too are any of the team adding the new diffuser this weekend? CarMad
Qualifying to start shortly, should be good again. And it seems Mclaren have apologised for lying to the FIA apparently, will have to see what happens to them on the 29th of April hey.
cruiser647
Hamilton is fifth on the grid? Wow! Getting better. And Trulli and Glock on the front row - this is a great change in the normal order of things!

CarMad
If vettel get a clean run it could be his day, Hamilton with KERs just behind the front runners might upset things a little. Its going to be a very hot race so anything could happen with reliability. Ferrari just want to finish a good result isn't even in the sights, how times change. cruiser647
Piquet can't corner for toffee! Rubbish. Barrichello was all over his ass at every turn, but could not pass once on the straight! He was very pissed off and it was funny!
CarMad
Well what another cracking race. Lots of overtaking and it could have been anybodies race until the last 10 laps. Button did well in the first corner and had a bit of luck, but yet again he drove a perfect race to take the flag. Vettel will be a bit disappointed at his stint spent behind Hamilton after a cracking KERs start off the grid, but then later on he couldn't get away from Trulli when he wasn't on the quick tyres, so in the end second was a good finish. Hamilton couldn't get on the podium but fourth shows promise if not ultimate speed, KER's is really helping them at the start and on the straights just not through the quick corners, more car improvements are to come. Ferrari will be happy for two cars to make it to the end albeit with a few issues along the way. 6th is the best they could hope for with the current performance issues, I bet they can't wait to get to Spain in two weeks time. Toyota are still without their first win after a dissapointing day and a lack of overall race pace, Glock just wasn't quick on his middle stint and Trulli just couldn't get close enough to Vettel in the final stages of the race, though Glock did his best to pass a slow Kimi towards the end of the race, he just didn't make it past. Button is now 12 points clear at the top of the drivers championship with Rubens in second; as for the constructors Brawn GP have almost double the points of second place team Red bull with Toyota a close third. Roll on the next race in Spain in two weeks time. Pos Driver Team Time 1. Button Brawn GP-Mercedes (B) 1h31:48.182 2. Vettel Red Bull-Renault (B) + 7.187 3. Trulli Toyota (B) + 9.170 4. Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes (B) + 22.096 5. Barrichello Brawn GP-Mercedes (B) + 37.779 6. Raikkonen Ferrari (B) + 42.057 7. Glock Toyota (B) + 42.880 8. Alonso Renault (B) + 52.775 9. Rosberg Williams-Toyota (B) + 58.198 10. Piquet Renault (B) + 1:05.149 11. Webber Red Bull-Renault (B) + 1:07.641 12. Kovalainen McLaren-Mercedes (B) + 1:17.824 13. Bourdais Toro Rosso-Ferrari (B) + 1:18.805 14. Massa Ferrari (B) + 1 lap 15. Fisichella Force India-Mercedes (B) + 1 lap 16. Sutil Force India-Mercedes (B) + 1 lap 17. Buemi Toro Rosso-Ferrari (B) + 1 lap 18. Kubica BMW Sauber (B) + 1 lap 19. Heidfeld BMW Sauber (B) + 1 lap

bazza_g
I think I fell asleep during the middle part of the race! Congratulations to BrawnGP, RedBull and Toyota - really getting it together. Hamilton deserves a pat on the back too - things aren't too rosey in the McLaren camp so it can't be easy for him, at the back of his mind he knows they are probably going to get funked at the FIA hearing this week... CarMad
oh and how did Sutil get away with only a 3 place grid drop for ruining Webber's qualifying session?? That dropped him behind Webber, not sure they ever give a worse punishment, unless its Mclaren....
