I own an e46 320cd and recently it has developed a juddering problem at the top end of 1st and 2nd gear (when toe-ing it) have been told it could possibly be cv joint, driveshaft, dampers, bushes or diff..... I was wondering weather anyone has had a similar experience and could shed some light on this potentially dire and expensive problem...? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Wabsy47 Posted August 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2009 turns out it was the rubber (doughnut) bush that joins the propshaft to the gearbox... so thankfully not too expensive... £82 from bmw and took an hour to change......
