belly danser
my vw golf o5 1.9tdi starts intermittantly. its been getting progressively worse for the last month. when you turn the key in the ignition and the glow plug light comes on it starts no problem but the problem is this has been the case less and less lately. more often than not i'll have to turn the key for ages before i get this light to come on and thus the car started. it seems to work reasonably better on a cold morning or night. relay 109 has been mentioned but i think this applies to older models only. the glow plug relay has been mentioned but i dont know which relay this is. i've tried pulling each one to see but to no avail. the main relay is the only definite i've found so far. would be grateful for any help. MadderThanMax
Get It Vag Commed to confirm...... It could also be an ECU fault seriously!!! I was advised that "non starty" is a common fault on the ECU and that it could be an ECU fault, I'd say get it checked by someone with VAG com to confirm.
