kazi7860_1
hi to all, i have a just bought a 2006 gttdi and booked it in with a bodyshop for a r32 bodykit conversion, the only problem i am having is that the original r32 xenon headlights that i have bought will not fit the gti as the connector plug to the lights is different and has more wires attached. On searching the forum nothing showed so i posted a new thread. If anyone has done this or can shed light on this i would be very happy and grateful. thanks Edited January 1, 2010 by kazi7860_1
cruiser647
The Xenons in the R32 need the ballast thingies that boost the voltage to allow the Xenon's to work. The GT Tdi doesn't have them. Also, check out the ruling about having headlamp washers fitted.
JonC
Would have been easier to buy a R32 in the first place
