Mac
Hi guys I need a new compact camera - so I'm after recommendations I don't have any ridiculous requirements other than: Decent MP sizing for blow ups so 10Mp+ GeoTagging is an absolute must Reasonable zoom That's about it really. Budget - well I'm willing to pay for a good one, so say 150-500 quid. Thanks
alexc
This one is the absolute nuts, a friend was demonstrating it to me today, very impressed, especially the HD Movie capture. Canon Digital IXUS 990 IS Digital Compact Camera - Canon UK And small enough to fit into your pocket, the jammy git bought his from the USA for £150.00 Alex

CarMad
Mac there are only a few models with Geotagging and the best ones are brand new and only just been announced. There is a top of the range Sony or Panasonic that should be good for what you need, the Sony sensor is very good and also used by Canon who don't offer any Geotagging models yet. Mac
I gave up on the Geotagging and ended up getting a Canon G11. Seems to fulfill all the stuff I want including the ability to do all the manual/RAW stuff. Little bigger than a compact but still workable I think. Thanks for all the suggestions
CarMad
G11 is a great camera, if you wanted smaller then the S90 is the same sensor and tech but less zoom but it is pocket able. But you have got it so what does it matter.
