Hi Dutchy,

Yes i had Bi-Xenons before. To upgrade to the RS6 ones it will cost about £1500.00 including fitting.

You will need the two headlight units, with bulbs and Ballast units.

The AFS1 Module that supports adaptive headlights

and possibly a new Control Board.

If you interested, pm and i can give you more info

Hi Cockney,

Great looking motor mate! (I wanted that colour rather than silver)

Headlights looks top!! - did you have xenon plus before?

I have xenon plus in mine and would love to upgrade to new DRL's.

Was it straight forward and what was cost?

Well, I have the adaptive headlights anyway (is that the name for the ones that bend round corners??) - If so, I have them.

So would that trim down the shopping list?

Hi Dutchy,

Yes if you already have the AFS (adaptive Lights) then you wont need a new one, or the Control Board. So it would just need the new headlight units, and some re-pinning of the Control Board.

I think you can get a set of headlights fro about £800

Sounds more like it! - is that direct from Audi? - I did see some on ebay.de a few months ago for about 1200 Euros...

What do you mean by pinning the control board? - is not a direc plug n play?

Yeh you can get then direct from Audi. Because your existing headlights use different DRL's you need to do some re-pinning of the Control Board (under your steering wheel)

See thiws thread A6 LED headlights retrofit - Audi Forum

And look at this thread and post number 23 where there is a link to download some instructions.

Just replaced my 20" rims for these A5 19", plus the new RS6 headlights

Hi, very nice, I allways wanted to do that with the RS6 headlights. Can you give me more details please? If I have halogen headlamps can I convert to RS6 ones? Is it hard to modify the wiring? Is it hard to fix the sensors? Is it doable? Thanks
