Woppum Posted April 17, 2010 Report Share Posted April 17, 2010 Ouch, expensive mistake at 2.5k a disk! you really have to watch the pads, you dont want that happening. rears do wear quicker as the rear takes alot more load than most cars due to weight distribution. Woppum Posted April 17, 2010 Report Share Posted April 17, 2010 the problem is not with the disks but the fact the pads got worn to the metal. Although PCCB's last much much longer than steels they are ****ed if you let your pads run dry. With steels you get ruts but can most of the time wear through that with a fresh set of pads.
