NewNiceMrMe
The battery life is brilliant, thats not the question. What I want to know is if anyone has noticed if battery drain increases in speed once you reach the 20% warning level? I could swear it does. Anyone else noticed anything? eldavo69
Am sure I remember something about lithium ion batteries decaying exponentially once they lose a significant amount of their charge, that could be why.
Dave
I would agree, the battery hardly moves and then you get to 30% it seems to speed up.
NewNiceMrMe
Hmm. I'm not going crazy then. Yet. That's a bit crap really isn't it (the drain, not my not going mad yet). I wonder what will happen when the updated OS comes out. It'll not change my views overall because I can still easily go 3 days of heavy use (not videos though cos they kill it much quicker) without charge, but if 20% of life isn't really 20% of original life then that's rather poor. Rachel
I find it seems to "speed" up if using any of the wireless connectivity (Bluetooth, 3G, 802.11), but less noticeably so if these are off... The joys of being a generation 1.0 early adopter. BTW, I really notice the accelerated power drop on my original 2G iPhone when it gets to 20%.
