Cuzer
Hi Apologies for asking this but I've recently brought a 59 plate 325d M Sport Highline, loving the car in general yet from day one of having it I'm 100% sure BOTH wing mirrors have dipped when I put the car in reverse, nice touch I thought I then noticed it stopped happening and presume I'd knocked the switch for the wing mirror adjustment to the passenger side as this stops this, moving it back now the passenger side wing mirror dips yet the drivers side mirror does not move Speaking to the dealership they seem to think the drivers side mirror doesn't move, only the passenger side mirror yet unless I'm totally losing my marbles I'm sure BOTH wing mirrors have dipped to kerb level when I've put the car in reverse since I had it Can anybody clear this up please as I'm due to take it into the dealers on wednesday for them to look at it but could do with somebody confirming on certain models both sides dip or I may check myself in for some memory tests! Thanks in advance
davyk31
I have an X5 and a 3 Series, on both just the passenger mirror dips.
Cuzer
Cheers Davy, must only be the one then, must admit it does say that in the manual but I was sure both had dipped when I first had the car Thanks for your help
rottenbend
My 2008 320d M Sport was the same - only the passenger side would dip when reverse was selected
Mac
Yup mine does the same, only passenger side. It's dependent on the wing mirror adjust button position though. If it's off, push the selector the other way and it'll turn it back on again.
