edo
Hi Folks. My wifes iphone and our 2008 TT dont like each other. Her phone is a 6 month old 3GS. The car is a Feb 2008 with RNS-E, MFSW, Bose, Bluetooth. The car shipped with Bluetooth, and I just retrofitted RNS-E. Got a car audi place to code the car correctly today and (I wasnt there), they have told my wife that for her iphone to work she will need a new bluetooth module. Is this bollocks? What do we need to get it working (works fine with my android moto phone). Will a cradle sort the issue, and which one would I need for a 3GS? Any help appreciated! PetrolDave
Will a cradle sort the issue, and which one would I need for a 3GS? IIRC the iPhone always connects via Bluetooth even when in the cradle, so that wouldn't solve the problem.

scottishpaul
Don't know if it will help but i encountered problems pairing my 3GS (latest firmware) with a 2005 bluetooth module. In the end i switched on the phone bluetooth, then turned on the engine & radio, waited for about 30 secs with no connection, switched the iphone bluetooth off (keeping the engine running and radio on), then immediately switched it back on, then suddenly it found the car and i was able to pair it. Had no problems since. Should add that i don't have RNS-E.
