benny9876
I'd just like to know wat is the disadvantages of having a cam cut, instead of buying a 276 cam for my mk3 gti 8v? Then also i jus got my vr6 front splitter but the lip that i have on at the moment seems to be plastic welded to my bumper. Wat would be the easiest way for me to get this off and put the vr6 splitter on? Thanx Help much appreciated
Mook
The profile of the cam. 276 is the duration (how long the valves are held open in degrees), but you also need to think about the lift - most after-market cams give a higher lift, which you won't get by re-grinding a stock cam.
