TheEdge
Hi All driving back from football last night I had a Citroen saxo right behind me couldnt shake it off for love money or anything !!! Can those cars be easily chipped to give outrageous Torque levels or is it nitrous ? I have no idea? Just felt a bit embarassed !!
eldavo69
You can rip the engines out and fit Hayabusa lumps in place of the rear seats if you like!
Andy_Bangle
Engine conversations are popular in the Saxo world, for a grand you can up the power to 160bhp+ in a car that doesn't weight much or chip a VTS up to 145bhp for a lot less. So it was either that or you ss!te driver
TheEdge
Hahahah thanks mate Im not interested in modding my car at all maybe a standard stage 1 at APS all depends on whether I change to a GTI mark 6 in a couple of years from now as they are easy car to tune !!! this Saxo was fast and blooming annoying to boot !!! Tipex
The VTS is quite quick as it is, being so light.
garcon magnifique
A mate's just picked up a 1.6 Saxo as a 600 quid runabout. It's actually pretty quick.
cruiser647
Have a look on a Saxo forum and read his side to the story about how he kept up with an R32.
Cuprabob
Could be worse, you could have got overtaken by a girl in a Micra CC like I did this afternoon although I was in fuel conservation mode...honest :-)
NewNiceMrMe
On the other hand, maybe his car is just **** slow?
garcon magnifique
MkV R32 and Saxo VTS .... it has to be said, I bet the power to weight isn't that different.
NewNiceMrMe
R32 = 182 bhp per ton VTS = 144 bhp per ton As you say, not the difference many might expect. The VTS is a rare thing mind.
