TP27
At last, MrsTP's new Polo has landed. 5-door 1.2 TSi in Nimbus Grey. Not a bad drive I have to say and at 47 mpg so far, quite impressive.
Maxyboy
Very nice. I suspect the polo gti will look quite good too
SINGH
Very nice, I nearly ordered exactly the same colour, wheels and spec bar engine a few months a go. Any interior shots?
TP27
Very nice, I nearly ordered exactly the same colour, wheels and spec bar engine a few months a go. Any interior shots? Not taken internal shots, as yet - will do later in the week and post them up. We opted for the Alcantara seats too which are gorgeous !
NewNiceMrMe
That looks really good. I like the colour and wheel combo - suits it. At least it didn't take quite as long as ours did.
TP27
At least it didn't take quite as long as ours did. No, I think you beat us by two weeks !! Golf R for me next month too - maybe, if it arrives !!!!
Mook
A guy at the gym has got the exact same car (not the same wheels) and he loves it. Frugal as anything. It's bigger than the Mk2 Golf, which isn't that surprising, given the way all cars are going.
Cuprabob
Very nice mate, had a quick look at one in the dealer the other week and they have fair come on since we bought one in 2004. I've now joined the waiting game too. My local dealer was putting out a red Golf R at the weekend at it looked rather nice.

TP27
That's definitely the best colour Have to agree - it's got the new Xenon's on it too with the LED's - kinda' like them !! :D

Mook
It has Cocklights? BMWs have had those for years - they're called "angel eyes".
Tipex
Absolutely - and Foglights too !! Does it have double cocklights? Where the foglights pointlessly come on when you go round a corner?
NewNiceMrMe
BMWs have had those for years - they're called "angel eyes". BMW Angel Eyes aren't anything like as intrusive and unnecessary as Audi Cocklights. Those Audi LED's are awful, absolutely awful. I don't understand why people don't turn them off. Well I do, it's because they're cocks.
Mook
Don't think you can turn them off. Mercedes do just as well with their lights, but they're twatlights Jag seem to have got it right though - the new XJ does LEDs, just not massively bright. NewNiceMrMe
I'm pretty sure you can. I recall Chris_B saying something about it, I'm sure. You've hit the nail on the head though - they're just too bright. Nothing fundamentally wrong with them other than that.
Mook
You can do stuff with VCDS - IIRC, Scotty has, but you need to be a programmer to sort it out. They just need a "not so sodding bringt" button on the dash
Tipex
They just need a "not so sodding bringt" button on the dash Japs lead the way again, even my old Legacy had a 'not so bright' button on the dash*! *admittedly, it only dimmed the clock, but it didn't have cock lights, but if it did, I'm sure it would have dimmed them! Tipex
Not on my Impreza it doesn't, still just the clock!
