sidicks
It's been a while since I posted on here, but thought this was the best place to come for some advice about my wife's Audi! Her car is an A3 Sportback (2.0T Quattro) which she has owned from new in 2005. Suddenly her key has stopped opening the car remotely, but interestingly will still lock the car. Obviously she can unlock the car manually, but this stes off the alarm for a few seconds before she can put the key in the ignition and dive away. Given that the car will unlock with the key, I assume it can't be battery related. Any ideas? (This problem only affects her key - my key works perfectly) Thanks Sidicks
Matt R
It will need a new remote, not the whole key and coded to the car!, about £50ish for the remote!
sidicks
Even though the remote still locks the car?? I assume that £50 is parts, and a Dealer would charge at least another £50 for programming the new remote? Sidicks
