That's exactly what i'm aiming for to be honest, don't want to get extreme but get into better habits. When I actually have enough time to scratch my own arse I can start concentrating on the fitness side of things rather than just gradual weight loss.

Not looking forward to tomorrows weigh in. Could be in trouble. Way too much guinness, red wine, champagne and cheese. Need to re focus!

I think I'm just going to laugh tomorrow when I get on the scales, the amount of bloody sweets and crap I've been given this year is stupid had some of the sweets but going to bin a load of it I think.

Good effort. Got family over at the weekend and that will be the last of the indulgences. Will try to get out on Saturday for a mtb ride.

Didn't work. Just about bothered to get out of bed to go to work :rolleyes:

I did run Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day though :)

A huge percentage of that will likely be water weight if you've been over indulging on rich foods. A week of sensible eating and most of it will come off. +++

I wasn't far off, up 5 lbs this week :roflmao: but I think it's fair to say as Sam says that it's a combination of water retention and feeling a bit... er.. bloated :uhoh:
