12:50pm Eurofighter Typhoon low flyby over the centre of Leeds!

Quick search online shows that Leeds/Bradford airport is celebrating 80 years of being open and there are a few fly-bys by different aircraft including the Lancaster Bomber and the Eurofighter.

We had the Lancaster straight past our window of a meeting room I was in, very low and close, out at junction 46 M1....

Used to regularly see Concorde taking off from Heathrow as it climbed above the M25. The sheer noise that thing used to make was amazing. It always filled me with a sense of national pride that the UK (and the Frenchies) could build such a brilliant plane. It really was something else.
