Do you like Green Cars?

17 posts in this topic

The car you see pictured here was created in Russia by applying a chrome vinyl wrap at first and then a translucent green wrap on top to create the flashy green chrome effect. And if you're wondering, the owner ordered the saloon in an Alpine White finish. Soon to be seen on a footballer's car here!

One of these was in at my local dealer the other week. I think it looks great but clearly would not have the balls to order it! Don't like the black wheels either - just plain "Comp pack" wheels would be good.

I kinda like it. Not sure what other colour wheels would look good. Maybe dark silver/ magnesium. Don't see many green cars.

Also, the 5 is too big to carry that colour. The 3 above is a much better fit of green and black.

Green cars are superb....

<---- ahem.

But metallic green? No, no and thrice, no.

I had a 5 series in "Oxford Green" metallic, kind of a dark green. Looked great.

Not sure about this one, I agree with cruiser that it's too bright for a big exec, better suited to a small car. Like a 911, say.

I love green color car...

wiper arms, audi wiper blades

Are they green in coloUr (we can spell here)

And are they green in the production process? Do they only use the finest Unicorn urine and Griffin feathers to wash and clean them before packing? If so, I'll order 519 individual blades please. +++

I like the colour. Not sure i'd be brave enough to spend my own hard earned but I think it suits the car.

At best most car colour choice ranges can be described as dull

Colour choices on all the German execs have reached the point of utter banality these days. Have a play on the configurators for a 5 series, A6 and E class if you don't believe me - a dozen barely discernable monochrome shades with maybe a couple of options with a hint of blue in them. At least Jaguar still offer some actual colours.

A longstanding whinge of mine, too. Apparently, no-one wants colours. How would they know? If no-one is ordering colours, maybe that's because you don't offer any colours to order... :ffs:

I like colour in my cars, Metallic Blue, Red, Metallic Grey (run out model and had to take what was in stock, wanted metallic blue but no more available :() and now Red again. Fancy a metallic blue one next time (can you see a pattern)

We've gone from a black A3 and a black A4 to a red Brera and blue 3 series this year. They look lovely when they're clean and sat next to each other in the sunshine.

Yep. It is a shame, I was looking at the A8 config (blah, blah, blah) and saw the lovely colour options of grey, black, greyish black.

No wonder wrapping has become so popular.

Big cars look great in burgundy metallic!

You've just spent north of £45K - be proud and show it off!!!!
