garcon magnifique
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. What's the betting the FA tried to force him into some kind of retraction of what he said, only for him to call their bluff? I just hope Levy and Redknapp tell the FA to f*ck off too and they end up with Neil Warnock.
cruiser647
Ooops! The FA should know that managers rarely retract anything and that managers are in charge of team affairs. Most chairmen have found that out the hard way with the manager resigning rather than be told who to buy/sell/do!
Maxyboy
Well, lets be honest, Fabio Capello isn't the first Italian to abandon a sinking ship.

Luke
I just hope Levy and Redknapp tell the FA to f*ck off too and they end up with Neil Warnock. Hope you're right Garcon. But getting £6M for what is really a part time job does sound tempting. He must be on a big wedge at Spurs though. And great things are happening with the eventual new stadium, hopefully top 4. Harry is a real top manager now but he's also knocking on a bit. Wonder who Spurs would get in if he did go. He'd have some big boots to fill now. m4ttm4son
I hope they review the salary for this job. A £500k per year (plus the usual travel and football tickets perks), plus £25m for winning the Euros and £50m for the World Cup sound fair? Andy_Bangle
Even though he's now ruled himself out of the running and will stay at Spurs.
