steverado
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 320d about 2004 reg I guess because I think I want to avoid models prior to that due to swirl flap faults?? ould someone please give me an idea what sort of mpg realistically i'm likely to get, thanks, Steve
Calm Chris
Our 120d pre es so 163 bhp does 40 everywhere, on long m routes 45 at constant 80. When I say everywhere I mean all the journeys you shouldn't do in a d. Car is London based and average miles per year is 4k, 80% town journeys. Think it's now done 23k miles in 5 years! steverado
Thanks, I'm undecided if to go for a 320d or an A4 tdi, have you been pleased with your 1 series?
SINGH
The 320D models made in 2004 still had swirl flaps, even the 05 ones do. Just take the swirl flaps out, about an hours labour and £40 in blanking plates. Buy the 320D over the A4, unless you are after quattro it really doesn't do anything better, the 320D is more powerful, you don't have cambelts to worry about and drives 10x better.
