dazzer golf gttdipd130
Checked engine and underneath but nothing loose what i can see. This noise seems to be worse when pulling out of side roads with quite a lot of steering on. I wondered if the EGR needs cleaning out or could it be the power steering pump, because sometimes there is a bit of screeching as well. Especially as you pulling out of side roads with nearly full lock on. There is no loss of power with my Golf GT TDI 130PD when driving along. It has got worse slowly over the year. It has got me baffled. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. Thank you Daz
cruiser647
Hi Daz! HAve you checked your brake pads? If one of them is broken, then they can move, shake and rattle in the housing.?
cabby
You can get arrested for that sort of behaviour . On a more sensible note, sounds like it could be a CV joint. Worth putting the car on full lock one way and then the other to see if/how the noise changes.
