Tombstone08
I have an '06 2.7tdi A6 Avant - I discovered this week that there is significant water inside my nearside front sill, underneath the bluetooth module (which I was changing) case, the wiring loom there was under water! This water is clean, I mean totally clean and clear, looks like it just came from a tap!. This suggests rainwater ingress while parked. I would welcome any knowledge on places to start searching for the leak?
Mort
Air con drain pipe blocked - its a common problem.
Tombstone08
Thanks Mort, appreciate the tip. Can you tell me where this pipe is so I can get un-blocking!?
craigyb
Also the rear wash wipe pipe has a joint just ahead of the BT module, make sure that has not split apart. Although it would probably smell of bad eggs if it was the rear wash wipe pipe.
Tombstone08
Thanks for the info, I don't think its from the washer bottle as the water there is tinted blue screen wash/anti-freeze. Air con condensation sounds possible though.

jsuka6
never fixed it myself.... but this might help you : How to clean out the evaporator drain valve..... - AudiWorld Forums caution, this link relates to the C5 A6 and not the C6 platform, which your car is. Not saying the cause is not the same but the process of getting to it and clearing may be different
Tombstone08
All comments noted and advise on board. An Audi specialist also said to check the ECU housing for water & blocked drain grommets. Looks like I'm in for a busy Saturday; getting more intimate with my leaky German.
