cruiser647
Why the obsession with massive cars Dave? S6/RS6/Q7/5?Is it cos of the family I guess? I must say, I'd still buy a big 4 door saloon even without kids. I did before I had them! I've only had 1 x 2 door car out of all my many cars, and that was my first. I just think they look better than smaller cars.
Dave
Good question Mac.. i would love a GT3 or such like, but they are so impractical nowadays. You've only got to rest your foot on the trigger and it's 3 points & £60, or you just get stuck behind some old duffer doing 70 in the outside lane. I'm into comfort now.. i like a big, spacious, comfortable car that has a little bit of kick down if I need it. You know, I'm getting so old that I'm seriously looking at a Panamera!! :0 I do have the three teenage daughters that also need shipping around and all their stuff/friends. As much as I would love a 911 when they all go off to university.. I just can't see my wife being happy bending over and sliding into some thing so low. A 2nd hand Bentley continental is more her thing. You can pick a good example up now for around £60K. We do have the A1 tsfi, which i do take for a spin now and again.. just wish it was quattro as the front wheel do scrabble for grip a bit under heavy acceleration. I see you are thinking of a C63, got a mate in Newquay who has one and loves it.. the noise!!.. to die for!!
