GrahamS4
Hi all, I just wanted to ask to see if I am missing something simple here. With the MMI satnav in an A4, is it possible to have navigation on, but switch the DIS from displaying directions back to the large speed display? The early B8 S4 200mph speedo is cool (wouldn't change it), but not the easiest to read at town speeds so I like the large DIS speed display. This switches to directions when navigation is on, but really the voice instructions and MMI screen are ample. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance, Graham
Booster
Yep. Press the button on the underside of the wiper arm and it will scroll through the various display options. Can't remember the last time I used the analogue speedo!!

Can't remember the last time I used the analogue speedo!! Ah brilliant, thank you. I knew I should have read the manual (I wonder what else I am missing out on)! I tried the rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk, but overlooked the bottom button. In my B5 all it did was switch the DIS on and off and reset the averages. That's what happens when you jump three gerenations of vehicle. thanks again, Graham
Scotty
That button under the stalk is also great for silencing the ignition on alarm when you open the drivers door ... and yes : RTFM
