DeanS3
been a long time since I have been on here! hi all A few months back I bought an RS60 Boxster S and love the car in every way but beginning to want a little more power. No point in changing the exhaust because the RS60 pipe sounds too good to risk the chance of ruining the sound so was thinking of chipping? I loved my Revo'd Audi S3 but I guess chipping a naturally aspirated car just wont have the same effect, or does anybody know a good Porsche chip/remap? DanG
Nice car. Not sure that chipping is going to do too much. Maybe an induction kit, but the RS60 is well spec'd from factory. My advice if you need more power, just keep it above 4k revs. :D Actually, get your air filter checked / changed as they clog up really quickly. Have a word / look at the Hartech website too.... But don't worry too much, just make sure it's not a garage queen!
DeanS3
Hi Dan First thing I did was pull the filter and put a new one in so no worries there Also its a daily driver at the moment so hasn't been garaged once! Will have a look at the Hartech website now thanks
eldavo69
I think EMC in Birmingham race Boxsters - I'd speak to them. Also, Ninemeister (I think) do a few fruity things to Boxsters. IIRC they have a 986 with a 996 GT3 engine in it for sale. They like Supercharging things too
