bison
So, other than a pile of smileys still missing in action... MODS!!!! Can we please get this forum software to allow us to embed photos and videos from an iPad? Damned annoying, esp. as just pasting the URL into the reply from a desktop browser "just works"... Hmmm that's no good.... so what happens if you paste the URL into a post on the iPad? Oh and are you seeing the mobile theme or the full on desktop theme? Daz
Nick, non of the post formatting options show up via iPad on desktop theme

Milo
On the subject of problems, is anyone else finding the [full version] forum very slow on Windows? The mobile version on ipad/iphone flies but the desktop version is painfully slow to load,
NewNiceMrMe
See my earlier posts, I've been finding TSN slow on OSX of late too, both at home and in the office.
Milo
Ah, so I see Firefox hangs while trying to load pages and often briefly flashes up with 'not responding'
Waylander
So have I but then to be honest I thought it was a Firefox issue as it also seems slow with FB and LinkedIn

CarMad
Not seen any performance issues at home or work myself so thats OSX and windows but both on a fast connection to be fair so its harder for me to notice any delay.
Milo
I'm on a 60mb connection and it can take 7-10 seconds to open a page, or search for new posts. Doesn't seem to be affecting any other sites I visit Mobile version still flies though.
garcon magnifique
Not noticed any significant problems using Chrome on a really rubbish broadband connection.
NewNiceMrMe
Not seen any performance issues at home or work myself so thats OSX and windows but both on a fast connection to be fair so its harder for me to notice any delay. I'm on 120mb at home, returning 90mb, and the performance on OSX has been poor for a good week or more. I'm on 20mb at work, on OSX again, and the performance is poor again - over the same period. Both running FF, and no different on Chrome or Safari. Two entirely different machines, both running Mavericks, one on Virgin Cable, one on some shitting business broadband provider connection. The point I was making is it happened suddenly - on both machines. It seems okay this afternoon in the office, and it wasn't too bad last night at home - but this morning in the office it was slow again. I notice it on one action above all else - when clicking to read the latest post in a thread. p.s. and as I said in my earlier post that seemed to get missed, no other internet access has been seeing signs of any change of speed or performance - only TSN. CarMad
Something to be looked at by the Bison and the Admins then. I just did a bit of testing and all was find until I got a couple of random 20 second page loads so it could be having the occasional hiccup. NewNiceMrMe
It is quicker tonight. It's intermittent but the evening that I posted my initial comment it was a case of clicking 2-3 times to get a response, and when posting the green animation thingy would appear but that'd be it. NewNiceMrMe
Plllllllllease fix it! Today the forum is desperately slow. Links not responding, then they do respond. A 'time-out' feel to everything (without the time-out messages!). Tried at home. Now in the office. Firefox 26.0 in both cases. Completely different connections. This started weeks ago and is getting worse. I have also tried it on Chrome and get exactly the same.
Booster
Faster than ever for me from home and at work. How bizarre!
NewNiceMrMe
Every other site I use is unchanged. Everything working perfectly. Except here.
Cuprabob
Really slow for me this morning. Every other site OK for me too.
CarMad
I'm at home today and been on the forum a lot this morning and I've not seen a single slowdown as Booster has found, seems really strange that some find it almost un-usable and others can't see the issue at all. I can't see the backend to do anything so the Bison will have to take a look but it could be ISP related or a proxy issue for them maybe!?! Very hard to track down if we all aren't seeing the same. NewNiceMrMe
Yup, I fully appreciate that. I've just had to click the link to get into this thread 4 times, over the period of around a minute. All other sites absolutely fine, no delays. I tried Chrome in the thought it might be the new FF version, but no different.
CarMad
I clicked on the updated thread and it appeared in less than a second for me first time, I'm on Safari at the moment not tired anything else. I'd love to help but hopefully one of the Admins can take a look at things.
Cuprabob
I was using the mobile site when i was finding it slow. on on the PC and it seems to be spot on.
Tipex
When I try and use the uhoh smiley, it says that image extension isn't allowed on this forum? Edit - Except that it just did, it wouldn't let me when I mentioned about TDK kissing me! Edited March 4, 2014 by Tipex
Milo
The mobile site flies for me on my phone. The full site on my PC (Firefox) is so slow it's unusable.
