Parking sensor graphics

How do I get my pop-up display to show the parking sensor distance graphics?

At the mo, the sensors just bleep.  MY mate's A6 has the graphics display, and on eBay there is an older A8 with the graphic display.

It's the last picture in this ad. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2004-AUDI-A8-TDI-QUATTRO-AUTO-GREY-/131011931030?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1e80eb6b96

Arse! I couldn't do it. My module wouldn't take the code.

I now realise why - I need a different Park Assist Module. I need a 'D' unit. I have the 'B' unit fitted as standard, but they upgraded in 2008/9? to the 'D'. Will try to grab one on ebay. 2 nuts and 3 connectors should do it.

Thanks for trying Scotty.

Will try to change a few other things too:-

stop the seat belt bleep

use the foglights for indications aswell

And enable the gauge sweep round

I just need long codes to do them, I'll have a look tomorrow, as I am not sure my VAG-Com has that option???

May not work but again for A4/5 :

Disable Seatbelt Chime

[17 - Instruments] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 0

Bit 2-4 – Seat Belt Warning inactive

Enable fog lamp to come on for the same side as that turn signal

[09 – Cent. Elect.] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 4

Bit 0 - Check the box or change :Bit 0 set to 1

Enable Gauge Test/Needle Sweep

[17 - Instruments] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 1

Bit 0 - Check the box for "Gauge Test/Needle Sweep active"
