Andrew
That isn't too bad is it really? A modest increase over the E92.
garcon magnifique
GBP56k. Only 600 quid more for the M4. A grand more than the RS4 and a grand (or two) less than the C63. Seems bang on to me.
DanG
Presumably you'll have to add a few bits of optional kit on to that too, such as Nav and working exterior indicators... But does seem priced about right - don't get me wrong, its a lot of money, but 4.1 seconds is pretty damn quick.

Andrew
I've been getting a few teaser mailings about this for a month or so - I hope when my local dealer gets one in I'm in line for a test drive. Lucky my brake fluid service is due next month and an oil change a few months after that so lots of time for hint dropping. Might even put on a shirt for such an occasion! Andrew
I guess I'm out now as well We will discuss that tomorrow when you have had a good night's sleep, got out the right side of the bed and taken your anti-depressants. xx

DanG
Its from £56,175. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/bmw/4-series/65597/bmw-m3-m4-revealed
billy2shots
49 seconds into the vid you posted, 72,200 euro. Plenty of other mags saying over $60k in the build up to its release. I can't read German so maybe that's the DCT auto price. garcon magnifique
UK motor media reporting the £56k figure. Dunno if that's official from BMW UK. Obviously yes that's for the manual (excellent that there is a manual option btw). Can't imagine the DCT will be more than 2 grand though? My comparison with the C63 and RS4 was just a quick list price check on their websites. 55 and a bit for the RS4, 57 and a bit for the C63 saloon, 58 and a bit for the C63 coupe (from memory). NewNiceMrMe
They published the launch video on Facebook this morning. 0-62mph in 4.1s with the DCT gearbox. The prices I've seen £56-57k mean £62-64k for a properly specified car. That's actually less than I expected.

Andrew
I'm not really one for dressing up much so t shirt and jeans, or a Polo shirt if I think I need to look smart, is generally the dress order. Drives my Inlaws up the wall - so it is good to keep at it ...

NewNiceMrMe
I walk a lot! Constantly between my desk and the coffee place, up and down the stairs (or pace in the lift), to my car (about 30 yards), out for cigarettes, to and from the car at clients, and I stood for 8 hours on an East Coast First Class carriage last week! Pincher
I'm currently trying to talk myself out of ordering an M5 on one of those blistering 2 year lease deals. Getting insurance quotes of around £300 isn't helping much.......

NewNiceMrMe
I don't know what the current lease deals are in full but a quick look at the BMW website reveals that £4k down and £675 a month over 48 months gets you an M5. My reservation on things like this is you nearly always read of people having to accept sub-spec cars. Once you start adding options, the price goes mental. Still, there is no doubt that £675 for a car with a basic price of over £73,000 is going to attract a lot of attention.
