Rachel
Wow! I have already spec'd a Macan S Diesel as a possible R36 replacement, but might have to now spec one of these... http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=29161 http://images.pistonheads.com/nimg/29161/MB_GLA45AMG_02-L.jpg http://images.pistonheads.com/nimg/29161/MB_GLA45AMG_04-L.jpg (iPad forum options don't let you embed images... :-/ )

Rachel
I like that. How much? I asked on Saturday. Probably around $100K Australian, which would be what? 35K pounds sterling?
Twinspark
They're very small - X1 / Q3 sized, so a bit tight on space for family use. Price looks right for Australia - but they'll come in at around £45k in the UK. Ouch.
Biscuits
It's an A45 that's been down the gym a bit. Really think it's a great looking bit of kit and will no doubt go like stink. Sceptical on the fuel economy claims mind.

Torino101
Who invents these fuel consumption figures. 38mpg hmmmmmm
NewNiceMrMe
Probably the same people who told BMW that the X6 40d could do a combined cycle of 37.7 mpg. Ours is getting 25.7 mpg. On a good day. It is the one BMW we've ever owned where the claimed consumption figures are about as accurate as I would be throwing a dart at a target 100 metres away, whilst pissed and getting a blow job from Liz Hurley at the same time. Rachel
We get our first GLA 45 AMG apparently in October (still time to spec it a bit if I want it). Price will be ~ $84K Aust. which is a lot less than $100K.
