Did anyone see this? New 911 turbo S takes on the GTR and waves goodbye. Haven't seen myself yet.

Yes. I now REALLY want a Turbo S (minus the red interior of the one they used).

The 911T is a remarkable piece of engineering.  There's a video on YouTube of a 997 Turbo obliterating a Lamborghini Gallardo from 80 mph up on the autobahn.  And I really do mean, obliterating it.

I can't think of any other car I have driven that feels more planted and makes such rapid progress with such ease.

I watched it and really enjoyed 5th gear, a good compliment to Top Gear and it tends to be on longer, good but not silly banter there is a lot to like about it these days IMO. +++

For me it was Tiff in the Noble FTW!

The Mini chasing the 370Z around Millbrook was also a bit of an eye opener, even if it was more due to Plato's mad skillz than the car being easy to drive.

The Noble M400 felt faster to 120 mph. :roflmao:

Whether it was or not, I've no idea.  I was too busy crapping myself.

I was out with a number of supercars last sunday (GT3RS, 430 spider, 458, R8v10 included) for a dawn blast through the countryside.

There was a 997 TTS and it was simply BALLISTIC.  Made mine feel wholly inadequate, especially as it was wet.

One is on my bucket list

I watched it too. There's more of us watching it than I expected!

When's it on?  And what channel?

With regard to the 911 v GTR,  Porsche have had a while to catch up!

It's repeated on Monday, on discovery. Do a search on sky demand and see hundreds of viewing times. Literally.

I think Discovery is on Freeview?

Perhaps it's freeview with extra channels to pay for (in other words, Sky!).

Discovery is on BT TV too - so cheaper than Sky

Another good show. New Lamborghini spider but especially VBH In a not so tiny MINI (full on Paris / Dakar spec)

Watched it on Monday, the Kia Vs Renault Sport Megane was an eye opener, the Kia did exceptionally well.

As a motoring show, I prefer it to Top Gear.

Quite right T, as a motoring show it is, and pretty much (since re-inventing itself from a cafe venue a few years ago) always has been.

But still not as entertaining (most of the time) so I still watch both.
