Ian_C
MK Meet - Weds 2rd April, 6:30pm onwards onwards at the Caldecotte Arms, Milton Keynes. The MK meet is 10! The first two meets were Thursday 8th Jan and Thursday 5th Feb 2004 arranged by Chris and Sam from Tyresmoke.net (TSN). With MK being on hiatus over the winter months in recent years, this is the first occasion to catch up post ten year anniversary.First of the summertime monthly meets with the clocks having changed the last Sunday of March. 6:30pm start time is now a permanent fixture all year round, but if people cannot arrive until later that is of course absolutely fine. Usual suspects please post your interest, potential MK meet newbies please post below so we can look out and welcome you! Any enthusiast welcome. The meet is posted on RS246, spin-off forum Audi SRS and the S2 Forum. As mentioned previously, the food is very much part of this meet, its great to get everyone around a table together, who knows, maybe we will see some old faces at this one....For any newcomers (or forgetful old timers) the Caldecotte Arms pub is by the junction of the A5 and the A4146 right next to the oddly shaped - and now smoothly resurfaced - roundabout under the A5 (great for testing your Milltek). Look for the Windmill! Coming off the dual carriageway, drive down as far as the pub and then turn left towards the outside 'arc' of the car park - the top tier so to speak. The Caldecotte ArmsBletcham WayCaldecotteMilton KeynesBuckinghamshireMK7 8HP01908 366188 Cannot find any pics from the earliest 2004 meets (probably because it was dark lol) but have some of the D2s in force - think the record was something like eight D2s?

NewNiceMrMe
I think I did two of these. Maybe 3, I can't remember. I do recall watching Toby snake the rear end of the VW Caddy around in the wet though. It didn't take much doing with the lump of an engine! Ian_C
This Weds chaps. Don't forget to change your clocks tonight - looking forward to my extra hour of daylight in the evenings.
Ian_C
Few newbies have posted interest so for any early arrivals / anyone wondering where to congregate in the car park, as above, aim for the outer arc / top tier of the car park and then head right to the very end, as far away from the dual carriageway as you can get. We'll usually have this space to ourselves and be able to park in a line.....

Ian_C
Superb meet, great turn out, was not expecting 11 cars in April, no doubt helped by the weather. Great to see some new faces! More pics to follow, quickly wiped the plates of two quick snaps. Shame you couldn't make it Ben, you came down to MK lots back in the day, glad I bumped into you at ADI 2012, first time I'd seen you in years

garcon magnifique
Ok, I'll say it. That new RS4 looks rather nice. Purposeful. Which reminds me, I saw a 14 plate RS6 yesterday in dark blue. Classy and understated on the outside, was behind at the fuel station so didn't get to see whether it had the dodgy diamond quilted leather on the inside. Ian_C
Yeah the current RS4 and RS6 are very nice machines indeed.
