randalek
So Im a genius! Had a bottle of oil, and to open the bottle i used a stick to open it, and a little piece of stick fell into the bottle. I tried my best to not let the stick get into my oil tank but it got in anyways. the stick may be about 2cm long and about 5mm wide. Should i try to get it out? I can get it out, but i need something longer and skinnier than just a pair of scissors. any ideas?
patently
Yes. You don't want it disintegrating into bits that then block the engine oilways. I'd be tempted to do the oil change again with fresh oil, personally, in case it has already shed any bits. And open the new oil with a screwdriver, they're a lot easier to fish out of the oil tank. Calm Chris
Is that one of your weird sex toys? Nipple pinching outside slap on face machine Dab a tear of Evo stick on the end of kebab skewer, knitting needle, etc-let it set for a minute and then prod. The stick should get stuck. Or if you want a straw or two joined, stuck it up baby

cruiser647
I'd be inclined to empty the oil and then remove the sump. Take the stick out, reseal the sump and refill with the oil. Most oil 'cans' have easy open lids now. Well, the ones that I have seen have anyway.

Funny you mention that, that exact thing happened to a friends husband (ex). Dropped the oil cap onto the under car tray, couldn't get it, so used an old sock. Ruined the car (obviously)! Suffice to say, she wasn't happy! What a numpty!
