A new TT

Saw on of these, in black.

Didn't look as bad as I thought and much better in the flesh than the silver one in the other thread.

The rear indicators are funky funky!!  The pulse the light in the direction of the 'intended' movement!  A neat touch! +++

Could you tell, from a distance, whether the driver was a hairdresser or not.................... :P

Was followed (at the standard Audi distance of 4mm) by one this morning. Don't think he was a hairdresser. Trade plates suggests car dealer. (Or non-dealer if he not-works for Audi).

Fair enough - just goes to suggest that the Audi TT is that car of choice for the long sighted.....?

Old habits / stereotypes die hard Tosh :)

Just sold on the RS (this morning!) which I will miss and awaiting new TTS for hopefully next week. New TT is the best dressed MQB based car IMO but what do I know? :P

Wild stab in the dark, but does it involve some kind of flashing orangey light thing?

The rears are even worse. They're a mile wide and look really shit.

They're not the only one doing indicators like this. I think I saw it on a Merc too. May have been aftermarket of course.

Whatever happened to Audi being the epitomy of understatement?  They're just chavved up VW's nowadays.

Flared arches, plastic fake mesh grilles, indicators befitting of Altezzawotsit rear light clusters on a 30 year old Toyota Supra, more badges than Blue Peter and Quattro-everything-but-it-won't-stop-you-being-a-dick-and-driving-into-a-tram.

Bizarre.

But when they appear on a 5 series....

.. then you won't be able to tell. I couldn't tell you what a current one looks like as you never see them!  ;)

But when they appear on a 5 series....

The driver won't care as he/she'll never see them working on their own car.
