Tipex
Blimey, is that the rarest of the rare spot ever? The steak tartar of the car spotting world if you will? Was it ever even for sale or is it a VW promo vehicle?
JonC
Designers seem to adopt 'futuristic' designs for these so-called planet-saving cars. Why cover the rear wheels?
patently
Why cover the rear wheels? Fuel consumption. It's either something to do with smoothing the airflow over the wheels, or to do with completely stopping all further fuel consumption by the car when you get a puncture and have to abandon it because you can't work out how to get the fecking cover off in the dark and the rain and oh feck I hate the bloody thing anyway let's just get a taxi. garcon magnifique
Several years ago a colleague bought a Honda Insight. He raved about getting 80mpg. We tried to tell him it looked like a frog and nobody had ever managed to watch him climb out of it and keep a straight face. He swapped it for a Suzuki Capuccino. The big gay twat.
Tipex
Several years ago a colleague bought a Honda Insight. He raved about getting 80mpg. We tried to tell him he wasn't getting anything like that. Fixed that for you. Have you seen the new Prius? I thought the photos were making it look worse than it is, but I saw one in the flesh the other day, holy feck that thing is ugly. The Prius has never been a good looking car, but by god they've made it look ridiculous, why can't they just make it look like a normal car instead of an Aldi Batmobile? garcon magnifique
To be fair I think the 80mpg was coasting down a bloody big hill.
Tipex
I can get 99.99mpg coasting down hill and mine has none of that hybrid bollox!* *well, if I forget about the Mrs Prius.
