cruiser647
Walking youngest Miss Cruiserette home and I notice one of the houses has upgraded their S3. The S3 was a lovely deep metallic blue. But now, it's been replaced by the plain grey RS3. One of very few 16 reg cars I've seen.

CarMad
^^ That, its still in primer and they obviously didn't decided what colour they wanted in time for delivery its the ONLY explanation.

garcon magnifique
Weirdly it seems to suit something like the RS6 much better.

NewNiceMrMe
I'll never understand people buying that car in that colour, or any car in that colour. I think they look horrendous and cheap (which they're most definitely not). However, buyers perogative, personal taste and all that.
eldavo69
I have that colour on two of the walls in my cinema room. It looks better than it does on the cars and probably understeers less too
Tipex
It's a deliberately choosen colour though isn't it, it's for people who want to be a bit controversial, they still want it to shout 'look at me' while at the same time pretending it's 'understated'. It's possible that they actually like the colour too, but I doubt it. Edited March 28, 2016 by Tipex
Ian_C
The more modern ones (2008 B8 onwards) aren't too bad with their trick rear diff (although to be fair the B7 RS4 was pretty damn sorted without)
NewNiceMrMe
The new RS6 in Avant form, in that deep blue metallic, is a thing of beauty. I'd have one of those (if I could have a tow bar kit to pull the fuel tanker behind it).

Calm Chris
Grey is the new white. Pebble and slate seem to have hit the No1 spot for home paints, so I guess its extended out to cars.

Ian_C
The B7 RS4 anti-roll bar worked wonders on my B6 S4 Oh aye. Combined with a set of Asymmetric 2s, it turned it into the car I'd always wanted it to be. TT Shop fitted the bar for me at the same time as new rear discs and pads (and laser alignment once it was all back together). Whilst the car was going to be in bits on the ramps, I negotiated swapping the existing Milltek centre boxes from resonated to non resonated (man maths at its best) which sounded fantastic! It oversteered before. But that was more because of the chronically bad Dunlops it came with.... Edited March 29, 2016 by Ian_C

garcon magnifique
It's a fücking estate car. It's a device used at the weekend to take perfectly decent stuff to the tip and then transport chintzy tat home from the garden centre and diy store. How the fück such a thing became an object of desire I will never understand. Whatever fücking colour it is.
