Best racing championship by far.

Looking forward to seeing how the Subarus perform.

What channel is it televised on these days?

I can't even remember the last time I watched it but always used to find it the most entertaining motorsport by some distance.

Full afternoon's racing on ITV4, started already, which means today you have the choice of watching a live F1 race or some real motorsport. +++

SCARY moment for the marshall just!!!!!!

Should the flag man beforehand not have had double waved yellows out to signify marshalls on track?

It's almost a full day, never mind afternoon, 10:15 to 6:15 on ITV4. 8 hours:-)

Support races tend to be good as well.

36 cars in BTCC. That's going be fun at Knockhill

Great first race although I think somebody may have a quiet word with that marshal.

Great Ginetta Juniors race. Beggars belief they're all 17 and younger.

Excellent news. I bloody love BTCC.

I must get around to booking tickets.  We went to Rockingham last year and got grid passes as my other half is friends with someone from Team BMR.  I thoroughly enjoyed the day.  Excellent racing and a bargain price too.  This year I think we'll do Silverstone and Rockingham.

What we really need is for our resident racing driver to negotiate a bit of sponsorship when he orders his new Cayenne GTS, ditch the kit car and get himself on the Porsche Carrera Cup grid in a GT3 Cup. If the maintenance is covered by sponsorship it should work out about the same financially.

Thruxton today but sadly the Suburu team have withdrawn all 4 cars due to safety concerns. Fuel rail design issue.

One of my 'acquaintances' is racing an Aston Vantage GT3 in the British GT series this year. His own team is PFL.

Got some Aston corporate thing have been invited to by him. +++

An interesting character!

Maybe we will meet you at some point this year then ..... I find it hard to believe that Dave in the Ginetta Series has not long turned 17 but pleased to say he got a well-deserved 1st place at Thruxton +++
