E-bmw
I assume you mean Eurofighter Typhoon. Not WW11 type Typhoon.
NewNiceMrMe
Supermarine Spitfire Mk LF XVIE 4D-V TB675 That is the sit-in experience aircraft that is located at the RAF museum in Hendon. Presumably it was being taken for a day show somewhere. Sit in a Spitfire p.s. they're so closely recorded these days that if you want to go somewhere anonymously, it is probably best to buy a Eurofighter Typhoon instead of a Spitfire. People will probably take less notice and the chances of them tracking your aircraft number down is slim. Just saying, bit of buying advice and all that. Andy_Bangle
As MrMe said, it's from the Supermarine Spitfire from the RAF Museum. Apparently it's been parked up outside Horse Guards, along with a Sopwith Snipe and Eurofighter Typhoon, to celebrate 100 years of British Air Superiority.

They'll be back next month for the Royal Navy fire sale. (related: MOD rejects claim that Falklands have been left unprotected)

NewNiceMrMe
Often forgotten that over 1,600 civilisans died when the Mohne dam was breached due to the flooding in the valley. The damage was of very questionable long term benefit too. Mohne dam... Eder dam...
E-bmw
I think you will find VIRTUALLY ALL of what happened in the second (or first) world war was of anything but questionable long term benefit.
