Yep

Agreed the money, spoke to the insurance and had approval from the finance director at home!

They reckon they can get me one quite quickly and have arranged for me to meet a current owner next Saturday.  Would have been this week but I am at Silverstone all weekend.  So long as that chat and play with the bike is okay then it's on!!!!

What's the published db figure? Of course the unofficial one is "fecking loud" :)

Awesome James - good, bad or otherwise, it will be one to remember. It is unique. Keep us posted.

Not sure to be honest!  It can't possibly be louder than the RSV4 so the neighbours should be okay!

SC Project make a can for it too :)

Thanks mate. +++ It should certainly have an entertainment factor in a straight line!  The fluttering noise of the supercharger when rolling off seems like it could be quite amusing too

Basically a supercharged supersports bike that is up there in the fastest category. And it looks demonic.

I want one. I really want one.

Just watched those vids again. "The bike is responsive and angry..."

As a non-biker please explain something. I went through to the Kawasaki comparioson tool and the track only bonkers H2R is obviously ridiculously powerful.

However the H2 comes up with identical power figures as the "regular" ZX 10R. Albeit with more torque and delivering the power lower down the rev range. I assume the supercharger makes the bike very different to drive to the 10R but is it worth the huge price premium? Especially as the bike is also heavier?

It's a fair question.  They are very different bikes.  If you want to go around a track quickly and relatively easily then you buy a ZX10 without question.

From an acceleration perspective the H2 would annihilate it!  It's about how the power is delivered and how hard it keeps hitting through the gears.  The whole thing was a huge technical exercise into what was possible - bit like the Veyron.

The build quality of the H2 is also meant to be amazing

That's if you can find a track to allow it to run. Given the struggle normal bikes have to hit the track limits of 105db (and often less) I've no idea what H2R owners actuall do!

Order in and it looks like they have a bike in Holland that they can ship over.  Should be at the dealer on Thursday next week but the PDI process takes days so I won't get it until the week after.

Bad news is that I have an operation scheduled for Monday 25th and won't be able to get around properly for 3/4 weeks afterwards.  Therefore the dealer is delivering the bike to the house and I shall have to just look at it in the garage for a month until I can actually ride it!
