Genuine Ross Tech HEX+CAN VCDS cable

14 posts in this topic

Now that I'm not a VW driver any longer I don't need the VCDS cable.

It's a genuine Ross Tech cable so works fine with VCDS.

£50.

Seems to be a popular item.  I hadn't realised they were obsolete.

I didn't either - it appears the replacements limit the number of cars you can connect to unless you pay $600.

Wow! I guess I'll need to look after mine more and not lend it to people anymore otherwise it could be costly.

Yeah $199 for one to do up to 3 VIN's and $299 for one to do up to 10 VIN's

Blimey - can't remember mine costing anywhere near that much

Did they really! I remember getting stitched up with import duty on mine but can't remember what I'd paid for it. Must be about 10 years or more ago now.

I think I paid about £220 for mine on a group buy about 9 years ago.

If I upgraded mine then it's cheaper than buying fresh. It's ONLY $399 to get the unlimited VIN version. :o

Still got mine in a drawer and think I paid a similar price about 10 years ago.  Thought about getting shot of it, but I'll keep it now!
