Andy_Bangle
One person takes exception to an advert, makes a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority and it's ban claiming that the ad promotes dangerous driving. http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-44052613

CarMad
Crazy isn't it, hopefully it got more coverage being banned than it continue to be showed. Anyway just going to wrap the kids in cotton wool... not.
cruiser647
I thought I would try something. The Premier Inn advert with the wheel spinning Mindeo in a Starsky and Hutch'esque style. I complained about it for promoting dangerous driving, as they wheelspin and screech around the corner. My complaint was dismissed. They did not see it as dangerous or promoting dangerous driving. , yet it is the most brazen ad for dangerous driving. None of the specific car ads have screeching tyres and hard cornering, yet are banned. An utter farce.

cruiser647
I am sure it is the rival manufacturers' marketing teams that complain about their rivals ads!
