tomdymond
Scotty will the 19's go straight on a TT without any after effects/driving differences? Also are they good tyres?,please excuse my lack of knowledge on these matters
Jimmy_vRS
Here's some piccies of the 18's on the humble 'lil Skoda....
Scotty
Jimmy - looking good. These wheels look good on every car I've seen! TT4TOM - Apologies for the delay in responding. I missed your post. They are 0.5" wider and the offset is slightly different and this does make them tramline a fration more. I don' know anyone who has found this an issue and many haven't noticed. The tyres I had were the Eagle F1's which I (and many others) rate very highly.

settle
ello if people are considering get RS6 i would make sure you have a look at the finish on them and the quality of the casting. I've had a look at a few sets of them resently and very un-impressed the the quality and they had a very soft lacquer on them, which marks easily. I have also been told by someone who is 'in the know' that the 18's cost under £200 a set from certain main suppliers. I not trying to discredit anyone, just suggesting that you have a look at any wheels before buying
Scotty
I agree everyone should decide for themselves. So far though, no one has posted who hasn't been happy with them. I you are talking about the same ones then you'll be the first.

shao_khan
I will try to post some after the weekend - Wayside have a TT with the 19's on.
umrelt
That would be great as I am split between the 18's or 19's, but the cost of tyres for 19's is pushing me towards 18's at the moment
shao_khan
Is there much difference in Tyrecosts? I ran 19's on my Beetle and Golf and the tyres were around the £120 for 225 35 19.
umrelt
They jump by about £50, as the tyre size is supposed to be 235/35/19. By the time you buy two 19's you could have three 18's
shao_khan
Oh - I used 225 as its what Oettinger recommended, also found that occasionally the 235s rubbed, never had a single problem with the 225s.
