loddrik
GT2 has turbo, GT3 is NA. Or is this a rhetorical question?
Lagoo
[ QUOTE ] GT2 has turbo, GT3 NA. [/ QUOTE ] yeah got that bit just dont understand why the GT2 gets more than the Gt3, to me the GT3 should have 440bhp (factory upgrade) as standard instead of the 414 the GT2 gets
Andrew
I might be missing something here but I thought the GT's were in order of power and performance with GT1 being that lairy thing and the GT3 being the "lower power" thing.

Andrew
Yep, the GT1 is the beast to go for. They were homologation (sp) specials much like that lairy Merc that used to take off. Muchos De Niro too - expect no change from 250k I would guess. I've never seen one on the road but apparently they did build some for road use. s4_sat
gt3 is a car with track inspired modifications.much like the old club sport editions of the 911 and the 968.the gt2 is a bonkers mad tuned version of the turbo.with 470bhp through the rear wheels. 959
The GT3 is a spec'd up road car, the GT2 is a spec'd down race car The GT2 kicks ars.

Adam
for £126k I would bloody hope so too! GT2 used to be 462bhp but now 477bhp - lovely car but for rich nutters only IMHO
Adam
Lagoo there is a GT1 for sale at Talacrest at the mo if you have a spare £395k down the back of the sofa http://www.racecar.co.uk/talacrest/ or see attachment
959
indeed it does, but for that sorta money, you should not buy the GT2. I was considering it, but decided to buy a quicker, better porsche that will hold it's value/even go up in value - 959 - omg what a car

Bison1379134007
Lagster, the Gt3 is the next thing on my buy list. I fecking love them and i haven't even driven one yet! It strikes me as somewhere between a TVR and a 911(standard)... quailty and reliabilty in a hooning track honed car of power and might. Didn't it finish like 4th on the top gear track times last year? Shame the GT3 RS is sooo fecking ugly or that would be the one. Did you see the red one kicking around at LM? Pradip
[ QUOTE ] Lagster, the Gt3 is the next thing on my buy list. [/ QUOTE ] Me too - I am new to this list - could someone give me an idea of the market for GT2 & GT3's. I would be looking for a low mileage one year old car. Thanks
Adam
GT3 you will pay close to list - they are rare and lots of people want them including a few on here it seems GT2 residuals much weaker as they are so damn expensive in the first place and more of a specialist car (more hardcore than a GT3) - I have watched a few GT2s for sale and they don't shift easily - not that I'm in a position to but I wouldn't pay six figures for a one year old £126k GT2 all GT2s will be low mileage - this is not an everyday car
Riz
There was a article in that Pure GT Porsche mag awhile back which had a GT2 Mk1 feature... prices around 70-80k at the moment for a decent example They even indicated they may hit sub 70k soon. Adam
had a quick look and nice yellow one here http://www.monaco-cars.com/ near the bottom of stock list - £106k which I would read as £100k there is a black one at hendon way motors that has been sitting there for a year IIRC (they operate SOR for the selling clients hence large stock) - just ignore their ridiculous intital quoted prices
