oldbeefer
6 month old Cooper 'S', and I'm fed up with lumpy acceleration on part throttle. Is this a known problem, will BMW do anything about it and would a rechip from someone like AMD help? Thanks in advance.
Ritey
Hello and welcome to TSN If its six months old I just keep taking it back to BMW and get them to fix it under warranty, don't think that its a fault that is "normal" it should be fixed !!! My housemate has had a one click put on her BMW mini and has found pick up throughout the range a lot better though (she has a mini one) If its under warranty though I would get the problem sorted before tunning though ! Snail
As DM says, i would be inclined to talk to your dealer. Do you know anyone with a cooper that you could swap with for a short drive? if not, maybe you should ask the dealer, so you can find out wether its a characteristic of the car, or wether there is guenuinely a fault. Welcome to TSN by the way
