Chav
i thought you got one free when you passed your test nowadays along with £50 of vouchers for a 10-inch diameter exhaust tip from halfords!
sidicks
My first car was a 1-year old 1.5TD LS Corsa and it was a great car - cheap insurance, drive it as hard as you like and still get 45-50mpg, and the mid range would catch out a few rep mobiles - sorely missed... Mind you I'm still glad I traded up to the S3 !! Sidicks

felixthecat1
[ QUOTE ] As an old man once said: 'There's horses for Corsa's'. [/ QUOTE ] I bought one for my wife a while back and in case your wondering, it cost me £6K second hand (two years old) It is rock solid and she hasn't had a single problem with it. I, on the other hand have a VW that's got more creaks and rattles than a haunted house and has been to the dealer FIVE time in the last six weeks to fix a window that fell in for no fecking reason. So who buy a Corsa. People with more brains than money.
c13ush
my mother bought a brand new one last year and i used it before i got my s3 and its hard to say but its a good car for her anyway
shao_khan
Gotta say our Corsa was a whole lot more solid than pretty much every VW we have owned, also you tok it into the garage with a problem, and guess what - they fixed it, they didnt make it worse or cause a different problem, they did just what they needed to. cruiser647
Now't wrong with Corsa's! (or any Vx for that matter - even Vectras) Better courtesy car than the Micra! And better car than the FF Festa in all it's wierd guises. FF = ( Ford) As you can guess, I do not like them!

I did drive both, one right after the other. I thought the Corsa was much better, not to mention how crap the interior of the Fiesta is, cheap is putting it mildly. What do you mean exactly! Thorburn
I tested out an original Corsa (L-reg if I recall) and then a Mk3 Fiesta and yeah the interior of the Corsa was nicer but I personally found the Fiesta both rode and handled better than the Corsa. felixthecat1
Wow you're going back now. I'm talking about two of the very latest models. I think GM has caught up on the driving front now.

BobbyDazzler
I had a Corsa when they first came out and never had a problem with it. One of the things that prompted me to sell it was that I knew in time boy (and girl) racers would move on to them from Novas - and they do some cruel things to cars!! realdriver
I rented a Corsa 1.0 3 cyl. last year and I must say that I thought it was rather good. Better than a Fiesta (driving position sucks) or a Punto. The Corsa has a good driving position (lowish), quite a lot of feel through the controls, rather good handling and makes an interesting sound... Way, way better than the previous generation
