Forgot to mention this one. I saw it on thursday as I was picking something up at Newey's and as I came out a Beetle went past. Had all the RSI bodykit and the engine certainly sounded different, so I`m tempted to say it was genuine.

[/ QUOTE ] Most likely was but they are very rare... think 50 came to the UK with only 250 in total.... based on the old Audi TT platform with the 2.8/3.2 V6 block producing 225bhp.

Thought they put out nearer 275 Riz, seen two for sale on ebay where IIRC that output was quoted & no note of AM modding

[/ QUOTE ] Nope 225bhp with approx near the same amount of torque as the R32, maybe your thinking of the Beetle RSi Cup Cars?

I've only ever seen one of these and it was at the 'ring 3 or 4 years ago.

Everyone was looking at it and it sounded good but it didn't seem that impressive speed wise....for the money.

[/ QUOTE ] And from what i heard it didnt handle too good either...... crazy.gif
