BURTON
Ok so the work Matette didn't like me saying her Ovlov is worth 5k! So just before she went to lunch she dropped a Printout from Autotrader of how much her car is worth.... According to Autotrader it is 10k!! Now Parkers say £6k! Being that both of these may well be what people go by, who would you go with for a car?
Bal_rup1
Parkers no question!
activa
Niether, the prices are way too far apart-Glasses and Cap probably say entirely different things to those two! Her best bet is try and find a few for sale in different publications/websites to guage an accurate price.
18ME
What car is it? I can give you Glass's price if you wish.
cruiser647
The car is only worth what some-one wants to pay. She might get lucky and have a person who wants that exact model, or it might sit there and not sell. She needs to ring a few bods on Autotrader and see if they still have the car! Booster
But it's stolen recovered isn't it? Therefore worth about the £4K I said. Has she declared it stolen recovered on eBay?
loddrik
Guides are nonsense these days, most desireable stuff are massively behind book, look on autotrader and see what other people are selling them for.
Ari
What people are asking, and what people are actually getting, are not necessarily the same thing. I wonder where Autotrader gets its data? As an advertising mag it might simply be worked out on an average of asking prices in placed adverts, in which case it could bear little resemblence to reality...
