cruiser647
Millers Diesel stuff is GENIUS! I have used it before, but this time, I have really noticed it. I have an Omega Elite, and it smoked a bit on kickdown etc etc. I put in some 'other' injector cleaner and did not notice any difference. I have always used BP Otimax fuel in it, and that did help a bit. However, bought some Millers on eBay and stuck in a triple load of it. Wow. Engine is quieter, no smoke on kickdown or start-up. What do they put in it!?
UBM
If it's the Millers Diesel PLus, I swear by it! It contains ethylhexylnitrate, an octane isomer. Of course, a small amount of a nitrate in the tank gives one a boost!
Daz
If anyone wants any of this - come along to a meet (Windsor or Essex) and it's yours. I've got about 10 bottles at home that I don't need now.
UBM
If it's the Diesel Plus, where is the cheapest place to buy it from? (apart from your boot!)

Sparky
I'd be keen to buy a load of this. Anyone reccommend a good website, or is it only on Ebay?
s4dreamer
I tried the diesel plus in my A4 2.5Tdi Quattro and there was no noticable improvement. In fact, after a couple of tanks worth, the engine seemed to be running rougher and the fuel consumption went down. Needless to say, I stopped using it (Audi recommend that you don't use it in their engines, BTW).
UBM
It's sure helped boost my motor. I'd be keen to appraoch millers for a group buy if anyone is interested?

s4dreamer
You might want to PM John Roberts first - he used to organise it (although I don't know whether or not he still does).

Hopsta
johneroberts - exRS4 owner, now a GT3 owner. I believe they've recently done a GB on millers (petrol). I used a bottle of Miller Plus and really couldnt see any improvement nor any degredation. It was thought that it might suit older diesal eines. Pete have you been using this with your old banger? cheechy
I've just been part of a group buy for this stuff in the UK-MKIV.net forum. It doesn't actually work out that much cheaper in a group buy as it costs a couple of quid per bottle to send out. Its only of use if you could distribute it at a meet or similar get together. Cost me 7.50 a bottle (for 2) which isn't bad but I've heard that you can get it cheaper buying one bottle from a number of independent suppliers. I suspect the only way to get it cheaper is to buy one of their 5 gallon drums direct from their plant in West Yorkshire (then divide it up obviously!) Rustynuts
Something like a "Bring an empty bottle party"? Probably not going to work then.
websterm
its about £45 direct from Millers for the BIG can give them a call as they may be able to put you in contact with someone local to you who stocks the wonderful stuff
Satch
I get mine from DiffLock: purveyors of wonderful 4x4 stuff to the gentry and me. It is in multistore under "Oils & fluids" http://www.difflock.com/
chronyx
Put it in my 306 HDi and it seems slower than before... :S Not sure about the smoke yet.
NeilB
How much have you put in? A double dose or ordinary?
chronyx
Just under a double dose I think.
stellaman
I have just bought some millers, now on the bottle it says that one measure treats 20 ltrs, my tank takes around 50 ltrs when the warning light comes on, should i use 2 or 3 measures? how do you guys use it ?
NeilB
There should be a marker on the bottle for half a measure, so 2.5 measures will be fine for 50L. I normally put a double dose in when I use it after a long time, shouldn't do any harm at all.
gizze
I put about 4 measures in with every tankful, you could put the whole bottle in if you want to give it a thourough clean.
UBM
I read somewhere that with the most modern diesel engines this stuff does not actually help, even though I have a few bottles in the garage....
