dazdot
I took out the maintenance and tyre contract for my Gti about 4 weeks ago, this last week (after 1200 miles)the service indicator said service in 400 miles! I took it to the dealer yesterday and they reset this saying it is a common thing and nothing to worry about. This morning i have noticed a sticker saying my car is now on time and distance servicing schedule. How can this be, as the maintenance and tyre contract is for longlife only? Can this be changed back, or have i got to stick to time and distance?
Skidmark
I would ask the contract company to talk to the dealer direct. Then you will be 'out of the loop' if there are any probs. cheers
shao_khan
Sounds like another example of VW - Cant fix so take the problem away mentality. As said speak to your contract company - maybe the longlife service is due an oil change at say 2k miles and yours doesnt get it VW will be very quick to wave the invalid warrenty card. dazdot
Thanks for both of your replies. I think the next staep is to again talk to the dealer, as the maintenance contract is with Volkswagen!
