Afternoon,

So i just thought i'd add a bit more to my opinions of the r32...

Took a mate out in it today and let him have a go! JESUS! it feels VERY quick as the passenger... i know all cars do but this one a lot more so... had some interesting battles with motorbikes round corners!

maybe it was just his driving.... nutter.

The stereo is now beyond annoying. I am taking steps to get in touch with VAG to a) let them know its really not ok to underspec a car of such joy in that way, especially as no option is given and b) to see if i can get a refund on the money i shelled out on it.... so i can get an aftermarket setup. Should be interesting.

Getting about 15mpg driving around london!! OUCH. really getting into the NA enigine now though... it really is a case of letting the thing pull you all the way to the redline... which it does REALLY well

getting a lot of admiring looks... especially from the lupo GTI crew

rain sensative wipers a nice touch which works well as does the dimming mirror (just thought i'd mention it as i didn't have them on the s3)

the fact i can't bring the head rest forward is pretty annoying on a long journey too...
