Colin M
I have had a lot of calls for mine (now sold). One of the patterns that seems to be emerging is that other importers promised people the car and suddenly there are unforseen delays. This simply isn't true. Order one from me now and you can have it in 10-12 weeks. What seems to have happened is the Euro has gained enormous strength (from 1.65 in 2001 to 1.38 last week). Any importers who committed sales in sterling would now be making a loss). The Euro weakened again yesterday (1.425) but is now 1.39. With the rate so poor, the simplest option would be to "delay" a customers car so that he pays when the Euro improved again. This is a huge gamble on the part of the supplier. Woppum
Colin, thanks for that piece of information, that is very intresting and sounds mre logical than other rumers that i have heard. It also could make sence considering the UK dealers do not seem to be having too many probelms with delivery..
